With over 30 years experience in recruitment, Chris is a ‘hands on’ Managing Director with a proven ability to develop and strengthen client relationships. He is passionate about education and started the Staff Room agency because he wanted to bring a fresh, new approach to supply recruitment within the primary sector. Chris is extremely proud of the fantastic team at The Staff Room, and the teachers and support staff that work so hard in our client schools.
Chris likes to spend his time relaxing with family, travelling, eating out and ‘attempting’ to grow veg on his allotment!
Claire has over 25 years experience in PA, secretarial and administrative roles, including 6 years at BSI Quality Assurance. Claire has been with The Staff Room since it opened its doors way back in April 2014. Claire has an eye for detail, to ensure all aspects of our processes are accurate and fully compliant.
Claire enjoys yoga, foreign films, reading crime thrillers and walking her two dogs, Hugo and Otto!
With a background in retail management, Stephen joined The Staff Room in 2018. After working as a Recruitment Consultant, developing the Northampton and Milton Keynes divisions, Stephen is now Branch Manager, running the sales and service teams at our Northampton office.
Stephen is a big football fan and loves Manchester United. When the football isn’t on he enjoys spending time with his ever growing family.
Claire joined The Staff Room administration team in 2018, after working for many years in a large primary school based in Northampton. She is passionate about providing the best possible service to both our amazing client schools and our fantastic teachers and support staff.
Claire enjoys spending time with her family and walking her dog, Buddy. Tenerife is her favorite holiday destination and looks forward to her annual break in the sun.
Jack joined the team in June 2024 as the company began to expand into the South Leicestershire area. With his experiences from previously working in primary schools, he understands the many challenges involved with being a supply teacher, so can better advise and support his hard working and dedicated candidates.
As an avid Derby County supporter, Jack regularly attends home matches with his Dad. He has recently become a Dad to Ronnie but in his very sparse spare time, he loves to play football for Uppingham town.
Stephanie is our latest recruit, joining us in November 2024. She comes from an education background, having worked in a local private nursery for the previous 3 years. Stephanie works in the administration department supporting the team with compliance, finance and safeguarding.
Stephanie has a love for music and enjoys practising her keyboard skills when she has some spare time. Crocheting is another passion and has made various animals of all shapes and sizes.
Ellie is currently studying photography at Sheffield Hallam University, whilst working part-time, keeping our social media up-to-date. During her breaks from University, she regularly helps out in the Northampton office, providing support to the Staff Room administration team.
Ellie is thoroughly enjoying student life but always looks forward to coming home to catch up with family and friends.
