The Staff Room is currently seeking Primary Supply Cover Teachers to Register for work in the Milton Keynes area.

The Staff Room Agency Limited is now registering primary supply cover teachers for various day to day temporary roles to cover pre-planned and last-minute supply requirements.  As the region’s only specialist primary supply agency, we work with many primary schools in the Milton Keynes and surrounding area.  If you are looking to work as a primary supply teacher, for 2-5 days per week, we would like to hear from you.

We work with Primary Schools in: Milton Keynes, Newport Pagnell, Wolverton, Bletchley, Stony Stratford, Buckingham and surrounding villages.

Our client schools are also continuously looking to recruit excellent teachers to join their teams, so we will also have many opportunities for short to long-term assignments and permanent roles.  If you are an experienced teacher or ECT looking for long-term assignments, please get in touch. Our long-term assignments are generally full-time and paid to scale.

The Staff Room Requirements
You must hold Qualified Teacher Status, be energetic and motivated, have a good understanding of the primary curriculum and have good classroom management skills. You will need to satisfactorily complete all safeguarding checks to include enhanced DBS, Teaching Regulations Agency Check, Children’s Barred List Check and professional references. Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.  You can register anytime from now onwards, so please feel free to get in contact to ensure you are cleared and ready to work for the start of September.

To work in the role applied for, you will be required to hold the appropriate qualifications, training and experience.  If the advert is for a temporary position, in some cases, the option to make the role permanent may become available at a later date. We ensure all our candidates will have completed child protection, prevent duty and on-line safety training as part of the registration process and this is renewed every 2 years. This will initially be provided to you free of charge. All candidates must hold or apply for an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate which will be checked for any updates every 6 months using the DBS Update Service. Should the certificate not be registered with this service, a new certificate with be required after 6 months from the date of issue.
